Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Mooresville, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their three children, a 3 year old daughter and 20 month old boy/girl twins. The Nanny would be needed Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with additional babysitting needs on occasion.

The best nanny for this family would have a sense of humor and be creative, kind, positive, punctual, patient, and pay attention to detail (the family keeps a schedule for the kids). The best nanny would be able to help keep the twins on their schedule and their 3-year-old daughter engaged throughout the hours the nanny is on duty. During the day, their children are busy and like to be actively engaged in fun activities playing with toys, going on lots of walks, reading, and doing arts and crafts as well. This position would be perfect for a daycare teacher or preschool teacher that knows how to teach children new things. The nanny should be proactive in coming up with activities to help the children learn and grow, and be able to keep track with the developmental milestones they should be meeting. The family is looking for a nanny who is active and loves being outdoors as much as they do. The nanny also should have a proper understanding of age appropriate discipline, such as redirecting. Ultimately the family is looking for a long-term nanny who can grow with them and become an extension of their family over time.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Help the children dress appropriately for the day

• Bathing the children as needed

• Changing diapers and helping with potty training

• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

• Providing enrichment activities (Parents happy to buy any supplies needed)

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• After the pandemic and parents are comfortable, the nanny will be able to take the children on pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

• After the pandemic and parents are comfortable, Planning and scheduling play dates as requested and approved by parents

• Go on lots of the walks

Household Duties Include:

• The children’s laundry

• Prepping the children’s meals and feeding the children

• Clean up after themselves and the children

• Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

• Sanitizing toys and surfaces

• Stock diapers and other items

• Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pet Care Responsibilities:

The family has three dogs: one Jack Russell Terrier/mix and two Dachshunds. The dogs are very friendly, so the nanny must be comfortable with dogs in and around the home. The nanny should let the dogs out in the back yard as needed during the day.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume
