    Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Cornelius in finding a Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper for a family with three of their younger children still living at home ages 16, 14 and 4. The family needs someone to fill this need for 2-3 months, with the potential to go long-term if it is the right fit for both parties. The family has 5 children, but the Nanny/House Manager would only be responsible for the youngest child (4 years old) primarily, and the 16 and 14 year old when they are not in school. Their older two children are away at college. The Nanny/Housekeeper would be needed Monday - Friday from 9:30am-5:30pm, and then on Saturdays from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Sundays will always be days off.

     

    The best Nanny/Housekeeper for this family would be safe, kind, loving, gentle, patient, and honest. organized, structured, loving, and caring. The position consists of 50/50 Nanny and Housekeeping work. With the housekeeping duties listed below and help in the following ways in caring for their 4 year old. The Nanny/Housekeeper would be needed to help care for their 4 year old daily. She loves to swim, color, look at flowers, play with her siblings, bake, make slime, watch her siblings play Minecraft, read books, and more. The mom has a plan for homeschooling her with a checklist, and the Nanny/Housekeeper and mom would both be teaching her. Mom works from home, so she and the Nanny/Housekeeper would switch back and forth depending on the schedule. The 16 and 14 year old would be attending school and only need care when they are not in school. Their children are allergic to nuts so the parents are careful eating these foods, and will require the Nanny/Housekeeper to be careful as well and avoid exposing the children to nuts. They also have a pool and live on a lake, so the best candidate must know how to swim well. The best nanny for this family would be able to meet and exceed the needs of the children daily and foster a fun learning environment.

     

    The Nanny/Housekeeper for this family must follow strict social distancing and common sense practices and follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19. The candidate would also need to quarantine in the basement (basement with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, gym, and theater) of their home or in a temporary apartment the family owns for two weeks prior to starting the position. This position requires the Nanny/House Manager to then stay at their home for 2-3 months, or longer if you desire (but without leaving). This family is very serious about social distancing and cannot have someone who needs to come and go because of coronavirus exposure risk. The Nanny/House Manager will have access to a lovely park, a pool, and a dock on the lake during quarantine and employment. 

     

    Nanny Responsibilities Include:

     

    • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children
    • Facilitate virtual learning and ensuring homework is complete
    • Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level
    • Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

    Household Duties Include (This position will be 50/50 Childcare and Housekeeping)

    • Laundry
    • Clean kitchen
    • Making beds
    • Dusting
    • Clean bathrooms
    • Organizing

     

    Qualifications:

    • Have at least 3 years of professional experience
    • Have a professional resume
    • Fill out a complete online application

    • Have a valid driver’s license
    • Have safe and reliable transportation

    Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

    • This position starts August - September 2020
    • Legal pay is offer at $1400.00 a week
    • With the potential of other benefits if the position goes longer than 2-3 months
