Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte in finding a nanny Full-Time for their 3.5 year old son and baby on the way. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday 8-5:30 or 6pm. The position would be 40 hours a week until the baby comes, after that it would be 45 - 50 hours a week, with additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.

The best nanny for this family would be professional, reliable, trustworthy and have previous experience with infants and toddlers . The mom is due to have the new baby towards the end of the year. Nanny would be responsible for their 3.5 year old boy until then, after the baby is born the nanny will be responsible for both children. Their 3.5 year old attends 1/2 day preschool Tuesday-Thursday and the nanny would need to pick him up. They are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with their son, being outside, going for walks, swimming in the pool, and doing light housework to keep the house tidy. Their son loves to be outside in the backyard, go swimming, doing arts/crafts, and then just playing with toys in his playroom. When the baby is born the nanny will need to help establish the baby’s schedule and keep the baby on that schedule, engage with the baby and encourage the baby to meet developmental milestones. The best nanny for this family would be able to meet and exceed the needs of the children daily and foster a fun learning environment. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Helping with potty training/changing diapers
• Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Family has a weekly housekeeper who does heavy house cleaning):

• Children’s laundry
• Grocery store run
• Prepping the children’s food/bottles and feeding the children
• Starting or prepping weeknight family meals
• Washing, unloading/loading the dishwasher, putting away dishes, etc.
• Keeping things tidied up after play
• Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces
• Stock diapers and other items
• Emptying diaper pail as needed

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have safe and reliable transportation
• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Legal pay is negotiable, depending on experience, nanny will start at one rate and that will increase once mom has the new baby
