Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Madison Park in finding a Part-Time primarily for their 10 month old. The family has 4 children total, ages 10 months old, 4, 5, and 8 years old. The 3 oldest are currently in school full time. However they will be home after school and in the summer and also participating in various camps and activities. The nanny would typically be needed 3-4 days a week from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be compassionate, have patience with the children, able to help keep a schedule for their children, and provide some structure. Ideally the nanny would have previous experience as a nanny or have had formal experience/or education in childcare/child education. The children love to actively engage in fun playtime. The family is not into screens, so the children have a lot of free play time. This includes outdoor time in the backyard using their imagination, playing legos, doing art projects, cooking, crafts, etc. They also love to play sports, so the best nanny would be active, peak their imagination, and can kick the soccer ball around or play catch, for example. The nanny would be asked to help with driving the oldest 3 to and from school/summer camps as needed. The mom will be available to divide and conquer and take the children to activities as needed. During these times the nanny would be responsible for watching the other children while mom transports a child or a few children to activities.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are the first priority):

• Cleaning up after activities that the nanny engages the children in

• Encouraging the children to pick up after themselves

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Help with laundry as needed

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
