    Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Lake Norman area (Huntersville) in finding a Full-Time nanny for their three children, an 11 year old (boy), 9 year old (girl), and a 2 year old (girl). Nanny will be needed Monday - Friday for 40 - 45 hours per week, though daytime hours will be flexible as agreed upon between the family and nanny.

    The nanny would be primarily responsible for their toddler daughter during the day, as their older children will be in school for most of the day unless they are sick or school is closed, etc.

    The family is looking for a loving, mature, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, energetic, creative and interactive nanny for their children. The best nanny also would need to have experience with toddlers and older children. The nanny must be willing to align with the family’s values and philosophy on discipline and be on the same page with the parents to provide the children with consistency. Throughout the day, the nanny would be expected to meet and exceed their youngest daughter’s daily needs. The family also requests the nanny to work with her to meet her developmental goals through age appropriate activities such as going on walks, learning new words, playing with toys, reading to her, doing sensory activities, arts and crafts, and more. Screen time and TV time for the children is very limited on school days, so nanny must make sure that the children are not getting too much screen time. The older children are also active in a competitive soccer league and other activities, that they might need to be transported to. In addition to childcare, the nanny should be willing to help with various duties related to the children. These duties include, but are not limited to, carpooling, children's laundry, cleaning up bedrooms / playroom, homework review and assistance, light housekeeping, etc. The family also eats a healthy vegetarian diet and the nanny must be comfortable with preparing a variety of vegetarian meals for the children while on duty. The family is strictly social distancing and will require the nanny to follow all CDC and government guidelines and precautions requested by the family pertaining to Covid-19, and be very cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

    This position starts in August 2020, salary depending on experience and benefits are negotiable. The best nanny candidate would need to also pass an virtual, pre-screening interview, background check, driving record check, reference check, be a safe driver, know how to swim, and be CPR/First Aid certified.
