Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Chapel Hill NC in finding a part-time nanny for their 4 year old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 20 hours a week in the afternoons. This position may involve some travel to family’s home in Maine a few weeks out of the year.

The best nanny would be experienced and have a love for caring for children. Their four year old would need part-time care after school. The nanny would be responsible for providing a snack for the child, help with any school work the child has, and engage with the child in age appropriate activities. The family has lots of land to play on and explore and a swimming pool on property (nanny must be a strong swimmer). A nanny who has a educational background would be a plus for this family. The best nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child

• Providing child a snack

• Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Housekeeping Duties

• Changing and making child’s bed

• Child’s laundry

• Packing and planning for trips

• Errands to buy childs snacks and food

• Prepping meals for child

• Packing lunch and snacks for school

• Planning educational outings

Pets:

• The family has a Westie dog

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
