Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in NoDa in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be friendly, nurturing, loving, dependable, comfortable in weaning the child to solids, and experienced in caring for newborns. It is important for the family to find a nanny who will be attentive to their child's needs and will assist in creating a daily schedule for the baby. During the day, the nanny should read to the child and engage the child in developmental activities such as tummy time, playing with toys, going on strolls, and playing outside when the weather allows. The nanny should create an environment that will foster growth and encourage the child to meet their developmental milestones. As the child grows the nanny should take him on outings such as going to the Park, the Library, Story Time, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper pail

Pets: The family has a hypoallergenic Wheaton Terrier. The nanny would be asked to let him outside when the nanny takes the child out.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Must be able to swim, the family has a pool

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP before starting the position. The Covid-19 vaccine is preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts June 10th

• Legal pay is offered at $25-$30 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
