The nanny would be expected to come in around 6:00 am and get their daughter dressed and ready for daycare, drop her off between 7:00 am-8:00 am, then come back to the home and help with light household management tasks such as laundry and ironing about 10 items as needed, tidying common areas in the home, running errands, rolling trash to the street weekly, vacuuming every other week, and other light household tasks as requested. There is an opportunity to pick up hours for times that their daughter is not in daycare or for date night and weekend babysitting needs. The best nanny for this family would be dependable, kind, detail-oriented, organized. The family is looking for a nanny who can anticipate the needs of their daughter and family and take initiative in helping out with things that help the house run smoothly. Their daughter loves meeting new people, reading books together, playing outside and eating fruit for breakfast. The family is looking for a nanny who can speak English. However, if the nanny spoke a second language that would be a plus. The family has two mainly outdoor cats that would be around, so nanny should not be allergic to cats.

The best nanny candidate must also pass an in-person pre-screening interview, background check, reference check, driving check, be a safe driver, drug- and tobacco-free, remain up to date on their vaccinations including annual flu vaccine, and have a current CPR/First Aid certification.
