Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Denver, NC in finding a nanny Full-Time for their one year old son. They also have a daughter who is 4 years old, who would typically not need care during the day. The only exception to that would be when she is out of school, she would need care on those days from the nanny. She will be in pre-school full-time, and be transported by the parents to and from school. The nanny will be needed Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. There will be occasional babysitting needs, advance notice will be given. 

The best nanny for this family would be professional, caring, active, and engaging. The family is looking for a long-term nanny who has previous experience with caring for toddlers, and has an overall love for caring for children. The best nanny would be able to meet the basic daily needs of their son, and engage and facilitate fun learning activities with him throughout the day. The nanny should be able to engage him in activities such as going on walks, reading to him, playing outside and inside, doing developmental activities, and other developmental activities. The family has a pool in the backyard so the nanny must be a strong swimmer, and be comfortable with having a pool in the backyard.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include:

• Light tidying

• The child’s laundry

• Prepping the child’s food and feeding the children

• Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

• Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces

• Stock diapers and other items

• Emptying diaper pail as needed

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered at $25.00 an hour, rate would increase $2.00 an hour when nanny is responsible for both children

• Continued pay while the family is away

• Two weeks paid time off

• Paid major holidays

• Paid mileage for driving on the job (Not to and from work)

• Annual performance based bonus
