Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Beverly Woods in finding a Part -Time nanny for their 4 year old boy and 9 year old girl. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be consistent, calm, happy, empathetic, and friendly. The family is looking for a long-term part-time nanny who can care for their children in the afternoons and early evenings. The nanny would be responsible for picking the children up from school and camp and caring for them in the afternoons. The children like to play outside (bike/scooter/chalk, and walks), do arts and crafts, be read to, and play with toys inside the home. The best nanny would have a proper understanding of food allergies, as their son is allergic to peanuts, eggs, and some medications. The nanny should take special care in preparing food for him and be cautious to avoid feeding him foods with these allergens in them. Any medication given to him, as always will need to be approved and given at the parent’s direction. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Picking the children up from school or camp

• Helping the children with homework and preparing for the next day

• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the children

• Nanny may also be asked to start showers/baths for the children

Household Duties Include:

• Emptying dishwasher

• Wiping down counters

• Wiping down floors (crumbs from kids)

• Feeding the kids, light meal prep

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on all vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts July 12th, 2021

• Legal pay is offered at $22.00 an hour, depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away

• One week of paid time off

• Paid major holidays

• Paid mileage for driving on the job
