Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Sullivan’s Island, SC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two boys, ages 22 months and 3.5 years old. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, Fridays from 8:00/8:30 am - 5:00 pm on Fridays for approximately 45-50 hours per week. There will also be the occasional, additional babysitting, travel, or overnight request, so the nanny must be flexible.

The best nanny for this family would have strong communication skills, a laid back personality, have a college education or equivalent experience, patient, and preferably have an arts or sports background in order to help with teaching the children and providing fun activities for them. The children enjoy swimming (the family has a pool in the backyard), arts and crafts, going to school, going to the beach, visiting local museums, and visiting local parks. The family encourages there nanny to be active, engaged, and proactive with the children throughout the day to create a fun and educational environment for the children. The best nanny for this family will be ok working in a home with a stay at home mother, who is in and out of the home daily, and is able to effectively divide and conquer the day in partnership with her. The nanny should be able to meet and exceed the needs of the children daily.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Help the children dress appropriately for the day

• Prepping the children’s food and feeding the children

• Bathing the children as needed

• Changing diapers or helping with potty training

• Foster a loving and educational environment for the children, to encourage their individual development

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Taking the children on pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, Beach and more)

• Planning and scheduling play dates

Household Duties Include:

• Light housekeeping duties: which include unloading/loading dishwasher, wiping down counters, cleaning up the dishes after the children’s meals, sanitizing toys, and cleaning up toys and other child related things at the end of the day.

• Light Meal Prep Children

• Children’s Laundry

• Light tidying of the areas the children frequent

• Some Household Management task would also be involved as time allows and need arises. This would include, but not be limited to: Managing and coordinating with vendors for the home, running errands, and helping maintain the family’s schedule.

Pet Care Responsibilities:

The family has two Labrador Retrievers.

Responsibilities associated with the pets include:

• Letting them out on the dog run (Family has a dog walker)

• Feeding the pet

• Giving pet water

Qualifications:

• Have at least 5 plus years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Have safe and reliable transportation
