Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC in finding a Live-In or live-Out Nanny/House Manager for three children ages 3 (girl), 6 (boy), and 8 (girl) years old. The Nanny/House Manager would be needed, Monday - Friday 35 hours a week. Days and times are negotiable dependent on the best fit nanny's scheduling needs and family scheduling needs, with additional overnight nanny needs on occasion if dad is traveling.

The best nanny for this family would be mature, responsible and reliable, and trustworthy. The family looking for a nanny who has previous experience in caring for three children at one time and has a genuine love for caring for children. The nanny should also be coachable and can adapt their style to the family's values and disciplines. Open and honest communication is key to making any Nanny/Family relationship successful and family is looking for a nanny that can communicate effectively. The children are young and have naturally high energy. The best nanny would have natural high energy, be nurturing, playful, and youthful in spirit. The family is looking for a nanny who can engage with the children and keep them active in fun learning activities throughout their time with the children.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

Taking kids to school as needed and Picking up

Putting youngest child down for a nap

Then picking older children up an hour later

Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

Taking the children on pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

Planning and scheduling play dates as requested and approved by parents

Household Duties Include:

The children’s laundry

Prepping the children’s food and feeding the children

Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

Sanitizing surfaces

Stocking items

Emptying diaper pail as needed

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional experience

College degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

Take and pass a drug test

CPR and First Aid Certified

If the nanny candidate has a RN that would be a major plus. But not required. (for emergency response reasons, no one in home requires special medical care.

Childcare Development or Education background would be a major plus. But not required. Being proactive in putting together plans for children

English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus

Pay is negotiable depending on experience, will be offered above market rate

With private bedroom and full bathroom on a separate floor

Continued pay while the family is away
