Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Mooresville, NC in finding a nanny Full-Time for their two children, ages 5 years old and 8 months old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.

The best nanny for this family would be caring, creative, fun, and enjoy being outside.The family is looking for an open minded and active nanny, who is engaging and encourages the children’s individuality, growth, and development. Their 5 year old loves to be outside and learn about nature. He has an amazing memory, and often tells his parents facts about wildlife that they didn't know! He also likes to play imagination games, dress up, and have dance parties. Their 8 month old just loves to be wherever the action is. He's happy to sit in the grass and watch his older brother play. The best nanny for this family would be able to meet the needs of the children daily and foster a fun learning environment. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include:

• Light tidying
• The children’s laundry
• Prepping the children’s food and feeding the child
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Stock diapers and other items
• Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pet Care Responsibilities:

• The family has a black lab and will be getting some bunnies, ducks, and chickens in the spring.
• No responsibilities will be associated with the pets.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application
• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency
• Pass a national background check, including driving record check
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have safe and reliable transportation
• Have a minimum of three professional references
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
  

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts January 4th, 2021
• Legal pay is offered at $16.00 an hour, firm
• Continued pay while the family is away
• Two weeks paid time off (One of the family’s choice, one of the nanny’s choice)
• Paid major holidays
• Paid mileage for driving on the job (Not to and from work)
