Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Weddington, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 3 month old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The family is looking for a nanny who can be flexible with schedule fluctuations, and have the ability to work overtime occasionally.

The best nanny for this family would be punctual, reliable, creative, attentive, caring, and safe. The family is looking for an experienced nanny, who has previously cared for infants. In addition to handling their daughter’s daily needs (feeding, changing, etc.), the nanny should engage in interactive, age appropriate play with her. The nanny should be able to provide nurturing and loving care to their daughter daily. The nanny would be needed to help the parents get their daughter on a schedule and routine, and maintain that schedule throughout the day. The family is also looking for an active and engaging nanny who will come up with creative ways to engage their daughter throughout the day. These activities would include going on walks, reading to their daughter, playing with toys, singing/listening to music, doing developmental and sensory activities, arts and crafts, and more.The family is looking for a nanny who will be able to forge a great long-term relationship with their family, and grow with them over time.

The family’s home has a fenced-in pool in the backyard, so the nanny must be diligent about water safety and ensuring that the pool fence is securely closed at all times.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Emptying diaper trash

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine and booster, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts on September 1st, 2022

• Legal pay is offered at $20-$25 an hour, depending on experience
