Full Time Nanny in Raintree for two girls 3 months and 4 years old
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Raintree neighborhood in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two girls, ages 3 months and 4 years old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (42.5 hours), with the flexibility to work up to 45 hours a week. An earlier arrival time will be needed when preschool begins in the fall so the family will proactively work with the nanny to agree upon any schedule adjustments.
The best nanny for this family would be passionate, trustworthy, reliable, nurturing, energetic, safety-focused, and experienced in caring for multiple children at once. A vital aspect of this role is building positive and mutually respectful relationships with parents and children, adopting a collaborative "we" mentality. Clear and regular communication regarding plans with the children, especially if intending to be away from the home, during deviations in plans, or if there are unanticipated challenges, and willingness to provide and receive constructive feedback on the family-nanny relationship are essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be kind, nurturing, and committed to instilling good values in the children, adapting to their evolving needs and behaviors with patience and flexibility.
During the summer, the 4-year-old will attend several summer camps, and in the fall, she will return to her pre-school schedule, which is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The parents will do drop-off each day, and the nanny will be responsible for pick-up. When caring for the infant, the family would like a nanny who can assist in creating and maintaining a daily schedule while engaging her in developmental activities. These activities should include but are not limited to tummy time, reading, playing with toys, going on strolls, and playing outside. The nanny should foster an environment that will encourage growth and development and help both girls meet their milestones. Their 4-year-old is very energetic and active and enjoys arts and crafts, going to parks, riding her bike and scooter, and playing outside. It would be encouraged for the nanny to take the children on outings such as the library, the park, splash pads, museums, the Raintree Country Club pool, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community.
Their 4-year-old Daughter will take some time to speak to individuals who are unfamiliar to her. She will require a warm-up period with the nanny, and eventually, she will engage verbally. At first, she may use gestures and body language to communicate until she feels comfortable. There will be dedicated parent support in navigating this transition for both the nanny and their daughter. The mom works from home, and the nanny needs to be comfortable with this. Mom and Dad are looking for a nanny who will be part of their village and become an extended member of the family.
