Banquet Staff Member Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled banquet staff to join our team to help us provide exceptional service and dining experiences to our customers. As a Banquet Staff Member, you will be responsible for setting up, cleaning, and managing banquet halls for various events such as weddings, parties, and corporate events. In addition to setting up the hall, you will be required to greet guests, serve them food, drinks, and take orders accurately, and help with the cleanup after the event.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet halls according to event specifications.
- Attend to guests' needs with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Clean the dining area before, during, and after events.
- Monitor guests' satisfaction levels and address any issues.
- Ensure that all food service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies such as linens, plates, and utensils.
- Follow all appropriate food safety procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a banquet or catering setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
