Chattermark Distillers was founded as a small batch, made-from-scratch distillery in Charlestown, Mass. We source grain exclusively from New England family farms and mash, ferment, distill, age, and bottle on site in Boston’s oldest neighborhood. As our spirits make their way across Massachusetts, we are looking for people who are passionate about sales and local craft spirits, to help us end our spirits end up on more shelves in homes!
Job:
Chattermark Distillers is looking for a full-time Sales Representative to join our growing team! This opportunity is for those who are self-starters, relationship builders and passionate about local craft spirits. As part of our team, sales representatives are charged with developing new accounts and driving growth in current accounts. This role comes with the opportunity to work with a small company eager to grow its brand!
Job Responsibilities:
Sales Representative Duties
· Present, promote, and sell Chattermark Distiller spirits to current and potential customers
· Develop new accounts and new placements, driving growth in current accounts and creating opportunities for relationships in new accounts
· Develop potential clients by visiting in person and learning about their business and their needs
· Organize and execute point of sale materials at all accounts, properly merchandising with permanent and paper POS
· Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries
· Execute monthly and quarterly goals as related to business activities
· Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts
· Assist in the development and expansion of the product portfolio
· Handle deliveries, as required
· Partner with on and off-premises locations to host tastings; represent Chattermark Distillers at events
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· At least two years of experience in a sales role
· Experience in beverage industry, specifically with spirits is a huge plus
· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record of success in sales
· Ability and willingness to work in both a team environment and independently
· Ability to work collaboratively with a small team
· Strong relationship management, time management and organizational skills
· Dedication to task and purpose with loyalty and integrity
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
· Travel required: 3 - 5 days a week in the trade
· Monday – Friday with weekend availability
· Valid driver’s license in the state of MA, with active auto insurance
