Job Description
The Patient Check-In Agent plays a key role in providing a smooth and efficient check-in experience for patients across multiple clinic locations. This position is responsible for answering patient kiosk check-in calls by video, assisting patients with the check-in process, collecting payments for patient responsibilities, and checking patients in across multiple systems while relaying any important information to the clinic they are checking in for. When not engaged with patient check-in calls, the agent provides support with simple, manageable administrative and office tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly assist patients via video calls
Strong customer-service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to navigate and manage multiple software systems simultaneously
Comfortable using video-based technology, kiosks, and standard office equipment
Strong attention to detail when relaying information between patients and clinic staff
Ability to handle patient interactions with empathy, patience, and discretion
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic privacy standards
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical or patient-use issues
