THE OPPORTUNITY
You will provide technical equipment support and identify equipment discrepancies. You will prepare accurate and timely reports. You will provide customer service in the area of inspecting, testing, maintenance and repair of Life Safety Equipment to include but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire hose, Gas Detection Monitors, SCBA etc. You will need to have a basic knowledge of regulatory standards pertaining to assigned duties; i.e., State, OSHA, NFPA regulations and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | +----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | ---+ | | | - Conducting service calls. | | | | | | - Identifying equipment discrepancies. | | | | | | - Preparing accurate and timely Technician Worksheets (TWS) | | | | | | and reports. | | | | | | - Responsible for providing the testing and repair documentation and | | | | | | ensuring it is filled out accurately, completely and turned in for | | | | | | proper invoicing. | | | | | | - Responsible for ensuring the customer has all required copies of a | | ll | | | | required documentation upon servicing equipment. | | | | | | - Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in | | | | | | merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders & distributi | | ng | | | | to sales associates for processing. | | | | | | - May include the use of company provided assets such as but not | | | | | | limited to: Company Vehicle, Inventory, Safety Equipment, Laptop, | | | | | | LSI Scanner, Test Equipment, Tools, Radio, Cell Phone, Fuel Card | | | | | | and/or Credit Card. | | | | | | | | | | | | - Providing customer service in the area of Inspecting, Testing, | | | | | | Maintenance and Repairs of Life Safety Equipment.
