The BUSINESS OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE, OPERATIONS plays a vital role in ensuring Checkr’s various operations teams run optimally. This role works closely with Operations managers to develop and track KPIs to drive business insights, design workflows within Zendesk and other tools, implement scalable processes between ops and other teams, and conduct ad-hoc tactical or strategic projects. This role is responsible for building foundational processes to help Operations scale for future growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build & maintain dashboards that empower decision making using tools such as Looker, Zendesk, and JIRA
• Utilize performance and product data to improve operations efficiency and accuracy
• Design and implement scalable processes between ops and other teams around custom workflows, shared knowledge management, escalations, and ticketing
• Leverage detailed understanding of operations workflows to build and maintain central headcount forecasting model across teams
• Analyze support center data to identify areas of opportunity and run continuous improvement initiatives
• Project manage ad-hoc tactical and strategic projects according to business need. Serve as liaison between Ops and other teams for various cross-functional initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 3+ years of business operations experience, ideally in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Experience with Zendesk, JIRA and/or other internal ticketing systems and with BI tools, like Looker, preferred
• Experience project managing large or cross-functional projects, communicating and presenting to senior level leadership
• An ability to architect and implement processes from the ground up. You love flow charts.
• Experience translating business requirements into workflows within enterprise tools
