Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator role will strategically grow the foundation’s digital media presence by developing all social media content, promoting program and marketing campaigns, and collaborating with the Development team to enhance fundraising initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist with developing marketing strategies, planning and implementing social efforts, and assisting with social collaborations. This team member has strong writing skills and is able to communicate research findings, interviews, and the foundation’s work in an easily digestible and clear manner.

We ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide cook-from-scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet. Key Responsibilities
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the social elements of overall marketing strategy, including audience growth, social storytelling, digital marketing, and ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
Assist in the development of strategic plans to meet operational goals.
Manage social media platforms for the organization (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to produce written and video content for blogs, newsletters, and social media channels.
Connect with community supporters and donors through social media to encourage their support of our mission and answer any questions about our work.
Create compelling content that will serve to engage current supporters, while acquiring new supporters.
Promote events and share successes of the organization and our grantees.
Update existing web content and post new web content to the Chef Ann Foundation and The Lunch Box websites.
Support management of all media inquiries, press lists, and press releases.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead digital stats reporting to track user engagement across social media platforms and websites.
Lead creation of email marketing campaigns via platforms such as Campaign Monitor.
Research recent studies related to school food, healthy school meals for all legislation, farm-to-school, sustainability in schools, and childhood wellness.
Assist with planning, marketing, and implementing fundraising events.
Assist with implementation of donor, partner, or funder recognition into social campaigns, press releases, and newsletter messaging as needed.
Support other marketing, event planning, and programming projects as needed.
Assist in design for report templates for CAF’s program funders as needed.
Assist in design of marketing materials for online and print, including graphics for digital marketing campaigns.
Position Qualifications & Requirements
At least 2 years of combined experience working directly with social media and marketing coordination (in a corporate or organizational context).
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience managing various social media platforms, growing audiences, increasing engagement and creating attractive content (including video) for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
High level of computer proficiency including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, email management systems, video conferencing, and webinars.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with marketing/content calendars and website content management systems is a plus

Compensation
Compensation ranges between $46,500 - $58,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and credentials. The Chef Ann Foundation is a great place to work and provides its staff with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance reimbursement, professional development, a generous paid time off program, and a 403(b) retirement plan. We are a fully-remote organization whose headquarters are located in Boulder, CO, with team members spread across the US. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
