Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain product, supplies, and labor costs • Evaluate and regularly report on guest satisfaction and advise on improvements • Ensure the smooth and successful operation of the hotel’s food and beverage department including menu development, staff oversight, customer service, budget, and schedule • Supervise current food and beverage staff to ensure high-performance standards and hire and train new staff • Write and implement departmental operation schedules • Develop new menus with the culinary team that include suitable pricing structures • Achieves budgeted revenues, controls costs (which includes labor, food, maintenance, etc.), and maximizes profitability related to the facility operations • Communicates financial information to the General Manager, including up-to-date budget information and revenue growth programs formulated through short-term and long-term operational and financial plans for the food and beverage department • Assist the General Manager in ensuring training of all Food and Beverage/Banquet personnel using the steps to effective training according to Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards • Conducts pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events; ensures staff are prepared, organized, and deliver high standards of service • Assist the General Manager in developing and ensuring the implementation of Food and Beverage promotional ideas • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress Qualifications: • At least 3 years in a supervisory role in the food and beverage department • National food and health safety regulations knowledge • Deep knowledge of culinary trends in the industry and a strong understanding of portion and plating standards • Hospitality customer relationship management experience a plus • Displays strong leadership qualities and an emphasis on customer satisfaction Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
