Responsibilities: • Combine diverse ingredients in a unique way to create new and distinctive menu items and specials • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly based on experience
