Chef – Hands-On Role
We are seeking a hands-on Chef with the talent to enhance existing entrée items, contribute ideas for new entrée dishes, and help educate and develop kitchen team members in a fast-paced, independently owned restaurant.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys refining flavor, improving presentation, and collaborating with ownership to elevate the overall food program.
Responsibilities • Prepare and execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service • Enhance current entrée items through improved flavor, consistency, and presentation • Contribute ideas for new entrée items and rotating specials • Educate and mentor kitchen team members on techniques, seasoning, and standards • Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards • Work closely with ownership in a collaborative, hands-on kitchen environment
Qualifications • Experience or trained as a chef. • Ability to balance creativity with speed and consistency • Clear communication and leadership by example • Dependable, organized, and quality-driven
