    Key Responsibilities:

    \- Develop and execute a cutting-edge, seasonal menu reflecting Yountville’s vibrant culinary scene.

    \- Create, test, and refine innovative dishes that push culinary boundaries while ensuring superb quality and flavor.

    \- Lead, recruit, train, and inspire a passionate kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    \- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.

    \- Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of kitchen equipment for seamless service.

    \- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to uphold the restaurant’s high standards.

    \- Collaborate with management on menu updates, special events, and culinary initiatives, aligning with the restaurant’s vision.

    \- Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.

    \- Assist in managing the kitchen budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability without compromising quality.

     

    Qualifications:

    \- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-end or fine dining environment.

    \- Strong culinary expertise with a passion for culinary innovation and creativity.

    \- Leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating culinary teams.

    \- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

    \- Up-to-date knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.

    \- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

    \- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    \- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

    $95,000 per year
