  • Responsibilities

    The Videographer is responsible for filming, editing and delivering outstanding video content. Must be multi-skilled, highly competent person who is flexible and knowledgeable enough to play different roles as circumstances required. The role is hands-on, and he/she must have creative capacity and technical skills.

    Required responsibilities:

    Transport, set-up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location (indoor and outdoor) and studio production.

    Oversee the security, operation, and maintenance of equipment utilized in shooting and editing. Be proficient in maintaining proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recording devices

    Support the Marketing Department with producing, filming, and editing video content. This may also include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting concepts to the leadership team.

    Visualize production scripts and briefs while understanding the requirements for producing great results for each piece of work.

    Collaborate with team members to develop interview questions and storyboards.

    Plan and set-up equipment and staging area to capture shots to fulfill the brief. Prepare for basic lighting needs and optimal audio capture.

    Edit and assemble final visual/audio program material. Ensure consistency and relevancy to production while monitoring technical quality of end product.

    Encode and deliver content for web, social, DVD, and/or broadcast publication.

    Manage media data in an organized manner including tagging subject matter, participants, publication dates, and archival of completed jobs.

    Understand and use brand management guidelines for developing stories and product.

    Participate in developing ideas to succeed with marketing campaigns and other projects as assigned.

    Display excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills with staff and guests alike.

    Perform any other duties necessary to meet job responsibilities.

    Required Skills:

    Experience in camera operation, DSLR & digital video cameras, sound equipment and the overall production process is essential.

    Tech savvy, with considerable knowledge of audio/visual equipment, hardware, software, troubleshooting and techniques used in video production & editing.

    Highly proficient in editing with Premiere Pro.

    Knowledge of safe work practices, particularly lighting and manual handling.

    Creative with an extraordinary eye for detail

    Excellent communication skills

    Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work as a team and independently

    Work well under pressure to meet deadlines, including working out of office hours and occasionally on weekends

    Team player mentality

    Flexible with good initiative able to deal with ambiguity (asking the right questions, anticipating needs, being resourceful and preparing for a number of outcomes.)

    Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Radio, TV or film desired

    2 years’ experience operating video cameras and editing equipment

    Able to lift and move equipment; perform basic repairs on video/photo equipment; research solutions and make technical decisions

    Experience of using HTML & Flash, Photoshop, Motion, After Effects

    Understanding of business/corporate needs and customer service
