This is a full-time position preparing and packaging specialty herbs, vegetables and micro greens for shipment to our customers. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring that each customer's order is complete, noting substitutes and shorts
Double-checking the quality of product
Packaging orders to ensure there is no damage to the product, labeling each box uniformly and verifying correct address
Following food safety standards
Assisting in other areas of Packing as needed by washing, peeling, sorting and trimming product
Requirements:
Must be detail oriented
Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
Lift approximately 50-60 lbs. on a regular basis
Work in temperatures between 38 to 41 degrees
Able to work a varied work schedule
The work week includes 1/2 days on alternating Saturdays (depending on the day of the week and time of the year, shift may end between 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.).
