  • Responsibilities

    Chelsea Lighting is seeking a qualified and experienced Office and HR Administrator seeking to further develop your Administration and HR acumen.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook)
    • Understanding of Teams, and Smartsheet a plus
    • Understanding of Rippling HRMS and Payroll systems a plus
    • The ideal candidate must have strong time management, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and utilize these skills in a demanding, multi-tasking environment.
    • Attention to detail is critical for success.
    • Professional manner and appearance are required.
    • Must have the ability to liaise with clients and cross-functional departments.
    • Draw on proactive and concise written and oral communications skills.
    • Previous human resources experience is a plus.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintain inventory of office and copier supplies, logoed products, and amenity availability.
    • Manage employee lifecycle events including recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation exit interviews and offboarding processes.
    • Maintain the human resource information system and employee database.
    • Coordinate employee training including all safety and sexual harassment training.
    • Implement and monitor performance management system.
    • Monitor and maintain company compliance (including tracking and reporting) as relates to I-9, E-Verify, FMLA, OSHA, Labor Law, and other Federal, State, and Local laws including conducting audits to ensure compliance.
    • Assist with employee compensation, benefits packages (Health benefits, 401K), and/or other HR functions.
    • Assist CEO with timely and accurate expense reporting, presentation preparation, document preparation with attentive proofreading, making meeting and/or travel arrangements.
    • Manage contracts with various vendors such as Staples, Quill, Costco, Select-A-Gift, Halo, etc.
    • HR IT Systems used: Rippling, Lattice, Talogy, Checkr, EVerify, and Voya
    • Provide typing and other critical service to Senior Management.
    • Greet visitors in a cordial and professional manner
    • Accurately distribute mail.
    • Execute ad-hoc assignments as directed by Senior Management.
