    Griffin Chem Solutions is seeking an experienced Chemical Blender / Batch Operator to support our production team in manufacturing high-quality chemical products across industrial, agricultural, and specialty markets.

    This role is responsible for accurately blending raw materials, operating production equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing, liquid blending, and batch processing in a fast-paced production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Execute batch production according to formulas, SOPs, and batch tickets

    Accurately weigh, measure, and charge raw materials into blending vessels

    Operate and monitor mixing tanks, pumps, filling lines, and packaging equipment

    Ensure all batches meet quality specifications (viscosity, pH, appearance, etc.)

    Maintain detailed and accurate batch records and production logs

    Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines

    Handle and store hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals safely

    Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to stage raw materials

    Troubleshoot production issues and communicate with supervisors on deviations

    Assist with equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventative maintenance

    Support compliance with EPA, state registrations, and SDS/TDS requirements

    Qualifications

    Required

    2–5+ years of experience in:

    Chemical blending

    Batch manufacturing

    Industrial liquid production

    Ability to read and follow:

    Batch sheets

    SOPs

    Safety documentation (SDS)

    Strong understanding of:

    Chemical handling procedures

    Basic math and measurements

    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods

    Forklift experience (or willingness to be certified)

    Preferred

    Experience with:

    Surfactants, detergents, or biocide formulations

    Agricultural or industrial chemical products

    Drum/tote handling and bulk transfers

    Familiarity with:

    ERP systems (Datacor or similar)

    Inventory tracking and lot control

    Basic mechanical aptitude (pumps, valves, hoses, etc.)
