    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineer Intern to join our manufacturing team at the Orangeburg, SC plant. This internship provides hands-on experience in chemical process operations, manufacturing optimization, and safety protocols in an agricultural chemical company, a leader in the market.

    Estimated Duration: May 2026 through August 2026

    You will:

    • Assist in monitoring and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes

    • Foster digitalization in the collection and analysis of production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

    • Aid in troubleshooting process deviations

    • Update document standard operating procedures and support training

    • Support process improvement initiatives and engineering activities

    • Manage manufacturing excellence projects to improve efficiency and quality

    • Participate in safety audits and environmental compliance activities

    • Support quality control testing and validation procedures

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production planning

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a graduation date of December 2026 or after

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous internship or laboratory experience

    • Knowledge of chemical process simulation software

    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

    • Experience with data analysis tools

    • Understanding of GMP and safety protocols

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

    • Capable of climbing stairs and ladders when necessary

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

    • Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hard hat
