About the Role:

Color Mate Dispersions Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Chemical Operator to join our team in Gastonia, NC. This is a hands-on opportunity to play a vital role in the production of high-quality chemical dispersions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to produce dispersion products according to specifications

Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials including pigments, resins, and additives

Conduct quality control checks and record batch data accurately

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervisors

Assist with loading, unloading, and transferring raw materials and finished goods

Requirements:

Prior experience in chemical manufacturing, production, or a related industrial environment preferred

Familiarity with chemical handling, mixing equipment, and batch processing

Ability to read and follow SOPs, safety data sheets (SDS), and work orders

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

Knowledge of workplace safety standards including PPE usage and hazardous materials handling

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus
