We are conducting a confidential search for a Chemical / Process Engineer to support heavy industrial projects based out of Birmingham, Alabama. This role will focus on process design, calculations, and technical support for capital and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support process engineering and design for industrial systems
• Develop and review P&IDs, process calculations, mass balances, and technical documentation
• Assist with process studies, optimization efforts, and equipment evaluations
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and project teams
• Support project execution and technical problem-solving

Qualifications

• 5–20 years of chemical or process engineering experience
• Industrial or process manufacturing background preferred
• Experience with P&IDs, engineering calculations, WinGEMS, Aspen, or similar tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required
