JOB DUTIES

• Work with clients on a variety of web projects from concept to launch
• Maintain a professional client list of websites and perform client requested updates
• Design engaging and responsive web pages and layouts
• Employ industry standards and best practices through the build process
• Work with various types of themes, plug-ins and visual design aids
• Knowledge of common visual builders to develop page designs
• Write and implement optimized web copy for SEO
• Update WordPress, Plug-Ins, and Themes
• Troubleshoot website errors, plug-in conflicts and other technical issues that may arise

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media or Related Field (OR EQUIVALENT VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE)
• 2+ years of using WordPress
• Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
• Strong command of color theory and typography
• Technical knowledge of WordPress, MacOS, Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
