Cherokee County Health and Rehab is seeking caring and motivated individuals who want hands on experience as a Medication Assistant, Certified (MAC) in a Long Term Care Facility.

The Medication Assistant, Certified (MAC) shall be defined as an individual who has completed a board approved MAC program and has successfully passed the Medication Assistant Certification Exam (MACE).

The Medication Assistant, Certified **** competency to perform the selected delegated nursing activities to be delegated shall be assessed and documented prior to delegation by the licensed nurse. The MAC may perform limited medication administration task with supervision of a licensed nurse, whom is physically present in the facility and readily accessible to designate or prescribe a course of action or to give procedural guidance, direction, and periodic evaluation.

• $18.00 per hour

-Shift Differential ($2.00 for all hours worked from 3pm-11:30pm and $3.00 for all hours worked 11p-7:30am )
