You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals Qualifications: • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field • Prior experience in the hospitality field is a plus • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office Compensation: $65,000 - $72,000 at plan yearly
