COMPANY INFORMATION:

Cherub Medical Supply provides medical supplies and equipment to infants and children.  We traditionally service the greater Kansas City area but will make exceptions should the situation arise.  We are a privately-owned company, operating since 2002.  Cherub's focus is on patient satisfaction and enjoyable work atmosphere. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The delivery technician is responsible for coordinating all activities involved with identification, maintenance, delivery, and pickup of supplies and equipment to new and established patients.  

JOB DUTIES: 

1. Checks scheduled deliveries and pickups early in the workday and repeatedly throughout the day.
2. Performs deliveries and pickups accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Communicates with patient caregivers and Cherub office personnel regarding delivery and pickup schedules.
4. Maintains correct paper flow to assure all orders are received, complete, and approved for payment.
5. Tracks assets and cylinders accurately.
6. Utilizes UPS or US Mail when appropriate.
7. Confers with office personnel to ensure coordination of delivery activities with activities of other functions, such as billing, record keeping, and purchasing.
8. Assists with maintaining minimal stock levels based on new patient setups and pickups.
9. Ensures promptly filled backorders to allow for timely billing.
10. Maintains, cleans, and organizes warehouse.
11. Assists with cleaning duties in office area.
12. Cleans and restocks medical equipment to ensure all needed items are included with unit.
13. Assists with testing all returned equipment.
14. Maintains professional image at all times.
15. Participates in planning personnel safety and office protection activities.
16. Performs thorough instruction to caregivers receiving medication compressors and stationary oxygen systems.
17. Participates proactively in quality assurance programs.
18. Accurately records information received and documents interactions pertinent to patient care and management of private healthcare information.
19. Performs all job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures and with company mission, vision, and goals in mind.
20. Maintains safe driving record and valid driver’s license.
21. Performs other related duties as assigned.

• _Education/Experience: _ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certificates and Licenses:  Valid driver’s license
• Reasoning Ability:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• _Language Ability: _ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Math Ability:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, USPS and Brightree software.
