_ POSITION SUMMARY: _As an N Titleist, you will be responsible for representing N Title and our family of companies to the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.  Smooth and efficient closings are essential since this position is responsible for conducting all stages of the transaction to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Cover and manage all aspects of desk, as well as escrow transactions when Escrow Officer is on vacation, out sick or visiting with clients
• Managing escrow files from the date of receipt through the date of completion
• Accountable client satisfaction, quality of work, and maintaining company values
• Determine escrow requirements by studying and clarifying buyer, seller, and lender instructions
• Performs other duties as requested, including assistance to team members when the need arises
• Maintaining a daily task list (dashboard) within RamQuest on open files with no overdue tasks
• Open file and ordering title commitments, tax and HOA certificates, surveys, legal and loan documents, payoffs, and any other items needed for closing files as needed
• Reviewing completed title commitments, tax and HOA certificates, surveys, legal and loan documents, payoffs, and any other items needed for closing file
• Prepare estimated closing statements for buyer and seller, complete calculations by prorating taxes and interest
• Close escrow accounts by balancing and disbursing funds
• Preparing documents from opening to closing and handling the complete disbursement and follow up of all escrow transaction
• Type escrows, refund checks, set up files for recording and balance (detailing checks) closings

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to details, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
• Exemplary customer service
• Self-discipline, an aptitude for making good decisions and works efficiently under deadlines
• Must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced office high work volume
• The ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of escrow, from opening to closing, is required
• Experience working with RamQuest CCEE is a preferred (not required)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a background check

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• College preferred but not required
• Prefereed a minium of 3 years working experience in title company
• Escrow Officer license preferred, but not required
