Chesterfield Education Foundation (CEF) seeks Academic Instructors for the RAMpage after-school program. RAMpage serves students in grades 6-8 at Providence Middle School in Chesterfield County. Academic Instructors provide homework help and facilitate remediation in core subjects, with an emphasis on literacy and math.
CEF proudly supports Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS), serving over 64,000 students in 67 schools. Status: Part-time hourly
Salary: $28 - $30/hr
POSITION SUMMARY: Academic Instructors develop lesson plans that include project-based learning, learning through literacy, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). The person in the role must embody CEF's values and mission by providing a high-quality, safe experience for all students. All CEF employees are expected to maintain high expectations for themselves, colleagues, students and families and must maintain a professional, ethical, and responsible attitude to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere.

Hours: The RAMpage after-school program runs from September 2023 to May 2024, from 2:05 to 5:15 pm.
