    ABOUT THE ROLE 

    CHICA PROJECT is looking for a Network Management Fellow to support the Network Management team in managing the organization's vast and diverse community, schools, and funding partners. Reporting to the Network Management Associate, the successful candidate will support the assessment of prospective partners, nurture partner relationships and contribute to CHICA PROJECT's Network Mapping project. This individual will implement innovative practices to ensure efficiency and sustainability in the network management process and the upkeep of the network database. This fellowship opportunity is for the 2022-2023 academic year, starting on August 22nd, 2022 and ending late June of 2023 and requires a commitment of 12-15 weekly hours. THIS IS A PAID OPPORTUNITY.

    ABOUT YOU 

    CHICA PROJECT is looking for someone who is mission-driven, with a positive attitude to make substantial contributions to the organization's Network Mapping Project. This is a valuable opportunity for a Fellow to gain experience in the nonprofit sector, develop organizational, operations, and networking skills, and join a powerful network of women in Massachusetts and beyond. Further qualifications include:

    • Passionate about youth development, social justice, and community building
    • Experience in relationship creation and management
    • Experience working with communities of color and grassroots organizations, with understanding of systemic oppressions
    • Interest in nurturing community relationships
    • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Multilingual Proficiency or fluency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is preferred, but not required
    • Willingness to work in and across teams
    • Strong writing and proofreading skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Love of continuous learning
    • A great sense of humor!

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    The position will be mainly responsible for the following areas, but duties can expand beyond central responsibilities of:

    • Collaborate with program staff to identify prospective community partners
    • Support network communication (responding to requests and updating network of news)
    • Lead on resource bulletin (collecting and assessing resources and sharing with community)
    • Lead on Network Mapping project including:
      • Create timeline and research indicators
      • Present & implement action plans for network mapping and management
      • Support team in implementation of ways to ensure efficient and sustainable processes for network management
      • Manage the upkeep of the network database
    • Delegate relationships as needed to appropriate CHICA PROJECT team members
