We are seeking a SALES ASSISTANT at our division located in ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA.
JOB DUTIES:
This position requires an energetic self-starter to support our sales staff with customer inquiries, order entry, and purchasing in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Answer incoming sales calls for sales quotes.
Follow-up on quotations made to customers.
Communicates with sales teams regarding accounts
Convert quotes into orders
Attend Monthly Sales Training Meetings.
Monitor inventory levels of contract customers; plan purchase orders accordingly.
Procure test reports from vendors upon customer request.
Request freight quotes.
Run routine reports for the sales team and management.
Verify inventory entries in the system – add new parts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have excellent math skills and solid computer skills - good data entry skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office. Prior general administrative/ office experience or customer service experience is highly preferred. Must enjoy working with and developing relationships with new people. A high school education is required; some college is preferred.
