    Chick-fil-A 135th & 69 Hwy is seeking a full-time Human Resources Director. The ideal candidate for this position will have flexible availability Monday through Saturday. This position will serve this location only and it's staff of approximately 75 employees.

    The Human Resources Director is the first official introduction potential employees will have with our business. It is imperative that this person be kind and consistently portray a welcoming demeanor and the hospitality that Chick-fil-A is so well known for. Chick-fil-A is a quick-service restaurant, however we are in the business of people. We are focused on relationships with guests, employees, etc. We are not a transaction-based business.

    Due to the nature of this position, the Human Resources Director will undergo some operational and customer service training so that s/he has a firm understanding of what tasks are employees are responsible for. Upon satisfactorily completing this portion of the training, the candidate will proceed with training in the Human Resources area. It is absolutely essential that the Human Resources Director consistently sets the example for employee conduct and standards when it comes to policies, procedures and culture.

    The Human Resources Director will spend some of his/her time at our offsite office and some will be in the restaurant. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent organizational and time management skills. A team player attitude is also imperative. We require our employees to work in a manner that is best for the team, therefore the same is expected of the Human Resources Director.

    Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

    Actively recruiting new employees that best fit the needs of the business.

    Review all incoming applications in a timely manner.

    Schedule and administer all first interviews and coordinate second interviews with appropriate leadership.

    Coordinate with Kitchen Director to ensure kitchen hiring needs are being met.

    Administer and maintain all employee paperwork.

    Monitor/track employee referral program.

    Execute new employee orientation.

    Complete and administer employee evaluations in a timely manner (i.e. in accordance with employee start/promotion dates).

    Set up training paths for all new employees.

    Train new employees on scheduling system.

    Hold all employees accountable per the Policy Manual (i.e. correct uniform, appropriate hygiene, tardiness, absenteeism, etc.).

    Maintain uniform inventory, distribution of uniforms, and return of uniforms.

    Track payroll deductions (i.e. additional uniform purchases, nametag replacement, etc.).

    Responsible for increasing and maintaining employee morale.

    Assist with planning and execution of employee events/meetings.

    Skills/requirements for this position include:

    Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Gmail, Dropbox, internet)

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business

    Organizational skills

    Time management skills

    Smart phone

    Once in the Human Resources Director role, this will be a mid-level manager position with ample opportunity for growth. The starting pay rate for this position will be dependent on experience, but will range $14-$16/hour. The position is 40 hours/week Monday thru Saturday. Some Saturdays will be required to fit the needs of the business (i.e. some applicants may only be available for an interview on Saturday). A set day off will be determined upon hire.
