Delivery Director
The Delivery Director position is for a new concept Chick-fil-A restaurant located in downtown Nashville (1622 Church St.). A first of its kind, this novel restaurant is focused on Catering, 3rd Party Deliveries, Mobile Ordering, and Innovative Delivery Methods.
Responsibilities

Develop a monthly business plan for the Delivery Team.

Productivity Ratio
Oversee the speed, customer service, and accuracy of the Delivery Team.
Continuously reinvent processes and procedures with the aim of increasing efficiency and improving the guest delivery experience.
Delivery Technology Management
Dispatch orders throughout the day to ensure deliveries are on time.
Embody a technical mindset with the ability to fix technical issues.
Proactively manage order batching to achieve desired productivity.
Leverage multiple technology tools (Leveno computer, oracle touchscreen, and dispatching technology) to execute a high volume of deliveries across multiple brands.
Understand all the components of the dispatching technology and performing proper troubleshooting for each platform.
Strategically route drivers and manage orders accurately and efficiently.
Onboarding Drivers and Team Development
Create, conduct, and maintain delivery drivers onboarding schedule for Day 1.
Perform quarterly evaluations on delivery drivers performance.
Manage, develop, and oversee a team of 30+ delivery drivers.
Hold team members accountable to policy standards - timeliness, grooming, cell phones, uniforms, ect.
Regularly provide feedback on new hires and to the team - informal and formal.
Customer Recovery
Oversee and lead the recovery of customers when issues or problems arise with order accuracy, late orders, and other issues that create a bad customer experience.
Fleet Management
Manage a fleet of 18 delivery cars
Create and maintain systems to ensure all fleet cars are properly maintained.
Oversee the exterior and interior cleanliness of fleet cars.
Partner with Yoshi to ensure all fleet cars are consistently fueled up each day.
Oversee the fleet management portal through Enterprise. This portal manages our oil changes, repairs, tire rotation, ect.
Qualifications & Experience
College degree expected, not a prerequisite but beneficial.
Technically minded with the ability to fix technical issues.
Willing and able to work in a physically demanding role (work on feet for several hours).
Demonstrated past leadership experience.
Ability to coach, motivate, and lead other team members.
