    The Chick-fil-A Food Truck Manager position is for a new Chick-fil-A Food Truck located in downtown Nashville as part of our 1622 Church Street store (the first catering focused Chick-fil-A in the country). The Food Truck travels on various days (closed on Sundays) throughout the Nashville area serving Chick-fil-A to a myriad of locales and events, including:- Vanderbilt Football Games- South College- Red Caboose Park of Bellevue- St. Thomas West- Schermerhorn (Symphony Place)- TN National Guard- Gulch Night Market- CMA Festivals- Downtown EventsThe Food Truck Manager will oversee, along with other Food Truck team members, the on-site preparation of food, taking of orders, and assembly of orders, all while embodying the high ideals of customer service that characterize Chick-fil-A. As such, the Food Truck Manager will be extremely proficient at both Back of House (Kitchen) and Front of House protocols.When the Food Truck is not in operation, the Food Truck Manager will serve either a Front of House or Back of House managerial function within the store.

    The Food Truck operates on a very eclectic schedule Mon-Sat (closed on Sundays). As such, the ideal candidate will be available to accommodate occasional evening and Saturday Food Truck outings.The Food Truck Manager will also be adept at driving the Food Truck, though a CDL is not required.Food Truck experience preferred but not required.Compensation: $16-$19 dependent on managerial and food truck background.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.

    Assist in keeping the Food Truck clean, hygienic, and tidy at all times (including post-event cleanup).

    Prepare food products according to standards.

    Uphold all food safety standards.

    Operate and maintain grills, fryers, toasters, mixers, slicers, and various other types of food preparation equipment on the Food Truck.

    Ensure guests are served promptly and accurately.

    Execute opening and closing procedures of the Food Truck.
