    3-5 Days per week- Sundays OFF

    Role Summaryr

    Work with the Director - Kitchen Director in pursuit of excellence in operations and management. Lead and develop Kitchen Team

    General Responsibilities:

    Follow all Chick-fil-A standards and procedures.

    Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders

    Supervise food prep and cooking

    Monitor food quality, temperature and portion sizes

    Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed

    Train kitchen staff on prep work and line, fryerlater and grill techniques

    Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)

    Keep weekly and monthly cost reports

    Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area

    Maintain and approve schedule and shift changes among Kitchen Team Members. Ensure that leaders are finding appropriate coverage for call-offs and no shows.

    Coach Team Members/Leaders to consistently follow all Chick-fil-A processes and procedures.

    Skills:

    Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef

    Hands-on experience with ordering supplies

    Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations

    Excellent organizational skills

    Conflict management abilities

    Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment

    Flexibility to work during evenings and Saturdays (Sundays Closed)

    Preferred qualifications:

    Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus

    Experience as a leader food service operations

    Bilingual a plus: English Spanish and Creole

    This is a full time position.

    This person must be self-directed and highly organized.

    This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Kitchen.
