    Incredible opportunity for a high energy trainer to specialize in restaurant training for Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes!

    Certified Trainers at Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes partner with operational leaders and supervisors, departmental directors, and the Owner/Operator to effectively train, coach, and develop both new and existing restaurant staff in operations, hospitality, and all other associated positions at Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes. Individuals selected for the position will have the opportunity to build and grow strong business relationships and in-depth understanding of the business as well as achieving delivery on assigned accountabilities. Trainers who become certified by CFA, Inc. will also have the opportunity to travel at least 3 times throughout the year to train at various Grand Opening opportunities throughout the country.

    Pay Type: Hourly

    Compensation:

    $11/hr once Certified by CFA Fair Lakes while working at Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes

    $16/hr once Certified by CFA, Inc and while working on behalf of CFA, Inc.

    Travel: Less than 10%

    Overview:

    The Certified Trainer Program is designed for Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes Team Members and Restaurant Leaders who have a gift and a passion for training and developing others. Once selected for the program, Certified Trainers commit to serve at 3 or more Grand Openings, Company Operated Restaurant Transitions, or Licensee Grand Openings each calendar year.

    If selected, the certification process includes first becoming a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes by completing training, passing required tests with 90% or higher, and completing Phase 2 training chart. Then, the Team Member will spend a minimum 3-6 months of becoming proficient in the operations as well as gaining knowledge of Chick-fil-A standards and procedures. The certification process then includes another 3-6 months of training, practicing, and recalibrating on procedural knowledge and Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes standards. After completing Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes certification process, trainers may choose to apply to become certified by Chick-fil-A, Inc. if they meet all of the requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    Training Schedule Expectation

    Although trainers have their preference of Full-Time or Part-Time, most training at Chick-fil-A Fair Lakes occurs during the evening hours between 4pm-11pm. For candidates to accelerate their progress through the certification process, open or evening availability will be most advantageous.

    Travel Requirement & Expectation

    Trainers who are certified by Chick-fil-A, Inc. are required to fulfill three (3) service opportunities each year. Certified Trainers can sign up for assignments anywhere in the United States where a service opportunity is taking place. They should prepare to be away for 1-2 weeks at time for at least 3 service opportunities a year. Assignment lengths may vary in order to accommodate the needs of the business.

    Service opportunities include:

    • Chick-fil-A Grand Openings• Company Operated Restaurant ("COR") Transitions• Chick-fil-A Licensing Grand Opening

    Certified Trainer Integrity

    Certified Trainers commit to positively represent the Chick-fil-A brand and embodying the Certified Trainer role description in every situation where they serve.

    To maintain the integrity of the program and ensure the highest quality of training and service, Certified Trainers may be removed from the program if they are not able to fulfill their service commitment or uphold the character requirements.

    Minimum Qualifications to become certified by Chick-fil-A, Inc:

    1. Must be 18 years of age or older

    2. Must have been employed by a Chick-fil-A Operator for the past 6 months.

    3. Must achieve a 90% or higher on the Certified Trainer Knowledge Test (90% or higher)

    The test includes 75 questions from Back of House & Front of House procedures

    The test is open eTrain; Please feel free to consult eTrain as a resource

    There is no limit to the number of attempts; However, a user will be unable to access the test for 24 hours following an attempt

    The test should be completed without interruption as the test will time out and all unsaved answers will be lost.
