    Front of House/Hospitality Assistant Director

    Key Role:

    To ensure the FOH Assistant Director is serving others and impacting their lives in an extraordinary way. Also leading the team to ensure we are delivering a reliably quick and accurate experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The FOH Assistant Director is responsible for:

    Speed and accuracy of the FOH staff

    Coaching the behaviors of all Team Leaders, Trainers, and Team Members who work in the FOH and Hospitality area. Those behaviors include:

    Proper bagging to ensure accurate orders of high-quality food

    Proper usage of condiments

    Maintaining a clean and organized workplace

    The Core Four

    Implementing and enforcing innovations that will aid in improving Operational Excellence, i.e., Upstream ordering process and 3rd party sales

    Oversee all outside sales and insure they meet all Chick-fil-A standards

    All catering orders are pre-prepped and ready at the promised time

    Delivering weekly performance reports to leadership team

    Communicate often with fellow leaders in areas, such as, Cleaning/Equipment, Training, and Scheduling

    Develop creative ways to drive and motivate the team to reach our goals

    Develop Training strategies and constantly give feedback to team members

    Take time to do the “eye” test. Routinely take a step back, sometimes in secret, and watch operation to ensure it is Remarkable

    Understanding the POS System, and how to troubleshoot as needed

    Key Goals:

    We will know the FOH Assistant Director is successful upon attaining the following:

    CEM scores (to be measured in 30 and 90-day increments):

    Order Accuracy > 98%

    Speed of Service > 75%

    Attentive and Courteous Employees > 78%

    Interior Cleanliness Scores > 77%

    Daily Sales $$ (28-day Average)

    Key Traits:

    The FOH Assistant Director should:

    Work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the restaurant

    Allocate at least one hour per week for planning

    Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all FOH related goals and success factors to Team Members

    Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation

    Effectively coach and give direction

    Enthusiastically and passionately lead the FOH and Hospitality Team
