ABOUT THIS POSITION:
This position is for a full-time Back of House (guest facing) Director at Chick-fil-A Harbor Blvd at the Costa Mesa, CA location. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Each Chick-fil-A Franchise is individually owned and operated. This position will fulfill a co-partnership with an existing Back of House Director and work in tandem to achieve all Back of House goals and strategies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Management positions will be expected to regularly work eight hour shifts that require availability during morning (5:30am-2pm), afternoon (11am-7:30pm), or evening (3:30pm-12am), depending on the needs of the business. Availability can alternate throughout the week. A prime candidate will have daily availability during two or all of these times on a regular basis.
Additionally, managers are expected to have open weekend availability on Friday and Saturday. Fridays and Saturdays have the highest demand for excellent store operations and require additional leadership support on a regular basis. A prime candidate should have open availability for at least one weekend day, however open availability for both weekend days are highly preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of kitchen leadership experience is highly preferred. A qualified candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
MISSION:
Work with existing Back of House Director to grow, lead, and drive the Back of House (BOH) team towards the collective purpose, vision, and mission of Chick-fil-A Harbor Blvd. Be the shining example of our core values in everything you do.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Attendance to assigned work shifts and the punctuality of those shifts are essential
Be the standard of excellence in all areas of BOH operations (reference Kitchen Team Member job description) including opening and closing procedures
Support and collaborate with the Brand Director on all BOH training
Coach and develop Team Members and Shift Leaders including goal setting, performance reviews, the ESRC model, and accountability / discipline processes
Coach and support Shift Leaders in process and procedure
Achieve annual and 90-day Performance Goals
Labor management – shift set up, break management, clock-in/outs, uniform checks etc. including an understanding of CA labor laws
Work with Back of House Director on vendor management
Create and achieve annual performance goals with the Operator
Create and achieve 90-Day Sprint Performance goals with the Operator
Draft weekly labor schedules to achieve labor and performance goals
Support and collaborate with the Director of Marketing on all in-store marketing campaigns,sampling, and promotions
Direct and manage vendors
Utilize best practices by ServeSafe and OC health to document and maintain an above grade commercial kitchen
Know all business analytics for the Back of House
Sales, CEM scores, FC gaps, Labor gaps, ERQA etc. and drive towards excellence in each area

COMPENSATION:
Hired applicants can expect to make between $18.00 - $26.00, per hour †
† Pay rate will be based on availability and experience, and proven track record. Hours will be given based on performance. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
