ABOUT THIS POSITION:
This position is for mid-level management in Catering (both guest and kitchen facing) at Chick-fil-A Harbor Blvd at the Costa Mesa, CA location. This is a part-time (25-30 hours a week), hourly, non-exempt position. Each Chick-fil-A Franchise is individually owned and operated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The Catering Manager position will be expected to regularly work shifts that require an average availability between 7:00am-2pm with flexibility to provide delivery during times that are both earlier and later than the general availability, depending on the needs of the business.
Additionally, the Catering Manager is expected to have open weekend availability on Friday and Saturday. Fridays and Saturdays have the highest demand for excellent store operations and require additional support on a regular basis. A prime candidate should have open availability for at least one weekend day, however open availability for both weekend days are highly preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of catering experience is preferred. A qualified candidate must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving our catering vehicle. A qualified candidate must be 18 years of age or older.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Deliver all catering orders
Manage all catering orders
Inform Director of Back of House of all orders
Inform community businesses of catering opportunities
Be on call for catering questions and concerns
Build a network with local businesses
Hit sales growth percentage goal each month
Increase catering check average by every 90 day Sprint Goal
Communicate all catering orders to leadership team and BOH team
Communicate all catering necessities to catering team members
All catering communication assets
Keeping all catering organized and excellent in the restaurant at all times
EXPECTATIONS:
Deliver all catering orders with exceptional stewardship and high standards to gain trust with catering guests
Always maintain awareness for every catering order through email, app, iPOS, and over the phone
Double check all orders through impeccable communication with the Director of BOH for order accuracy and product needed
Have a flexible schedule and an open communication for catering orders to be sure very guest is given a remarkable catering experience
Spend time in the community influencing businesses to order catering through surprise and delight opportunities
Use remarkable connections as a tool for building raving catering fans in the Costa Mesa network
Work each month to build catering sales by the necessary percentage of the 90-Day Sprint Goal
Strive to build catering order check average through promotions and working directly with the Marketing Director
Be the hub of communication for all catering orders with Team Members, Leaders, and Directors in order to have accurate and punctual catering orders
Make sure all catering orders are communicated through flock, catering order sheets, team television, and the catering kitchen wall
Be a good steward to your team by making sure all catering is clean, organized, and thoughtfully cared for in and out of the restaurant
