We are seeking a developing leader to support the business by communicating, tracking, and training Team Members on achieving service and operational goals as a team. The Kitchen Shift Supervisor will oversee Kitchen Team Members in the development of the business and in the continual pursuit of “Operational Excellence,” while creating a positive work culture. The Kitchen Shift Supervisor will serve on the leadership team and will report to the senior leaders. The Kitchen Shift Supervisor is tasked with ensuring the efficient flow of the back of house, while meeting and exceeding our high goals and standards. Half of the time each week will be spent working side-by-side on the floor with Team Members in the back of house. Restaurant experience is not required for this position, but one must understand how to access, interpret and evaluate data to assess the production and success of the team in order to drive growth.
Position Type:
Full-Time, 40-45 hours per week
Must have availability Monday-Saturday between 5am-11pm
Daylight Shift working a minimum of 5 days per week, or Evening Shift working a minimum of 5 evenings per week

Requirements:
Bilingual preferred
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in any industry with leading people is preferred
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs
Basic computer and iPad competency
Responsibilities:
Deliver crave-able food in a timely manner that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements
Align daily practices of the Kitchen with the Business Vision: Passionately Delivering Excellence
Pay vigilant attention to the organization, appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen
Analyze Food Safety and Quality results in order to develop training opportunities and plans
Coach, evaluate and provide accountability for the development of kitchen leaders and team members
Execute effective & efficient ordering based on Sales Mix and projections (i.e. Truck, Produce, Bread)
Manage Month End Inventory/Month End Process
Effectively follow all cleaning and check-out lists
Manage communication with Insurance Carriers regarding Team Member incidents.
Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices and complies with HACCP standards
Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of product
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with team members and guests
Serve and treat all others with honor, dignity and respect
Ability to respond well to leadership/authority and coaching
Prepare food orders for in-store and catering orders
Determine and implement ways to improve processes and reduce waste in the
restaurant
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items, and stays well-informed of current promotions
