Role Description - Inventory Team Member

AVAILABILITY: 4am-2PM

JOB OVERVIEW: An Inventory Team Member will provide guests with a ReMARKable experience by completing daily ordering of food products to ensure operational needs are met without a shortage of product.  They will put away stock daily and seek to keep on hand the necessary products while avoiding an unnecessary surplus of inventory items. An Inventory Team Member will be responsible for ensuring that all product that has been ordered arrives on delivery and will follow up with the Inventory Lead if discrepancies arise.  They will coordinate with the Inventory Lead concerning new item rollouts as well as seasonal menu items and menu deletions. They will also coordinate on weekly cleaning tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Completes daily truck orders to maintain on hand inventory
• Puts away daily truck deliveries making sure to rotate stock using a strict FIFO method
• Coordinates with Inventory Manager about inventory changes and cleaning tasks
• Ensures missing inventory items are accounted for accurately
• Completes weekly cleaning tasks
• Identify low stock items and work towards a solution for borrowing items if necessary
• Organized all “on hand” product daily
• Assists with Back of House Operations daily

  • All standard operating procedures must comply with or exceed Chick-fil-A and DPH standards.
• Personal Contacts
  • An Inventory Team Member regularly communicates formally and informally with Team Members, Team Leaders, and Director(s)
  • Updates will be provided to the Inventory Manager and the Director team.
• Physical Demands
  • The Inventory Lead is subject to the physical demands set forth in the Team Member handbook, most importantly being able to lift fifty pounds.
• Work Hazards
  • An Inventory Team Member is subject to normal work hazards set forth in the Team Member handbook
• Personal Demands
  • The Inventory Team is an extension of the Operator and the Mission. It’s paramount that they are capable and willing to interface with other Team Members.
